The YOU CHOOSE road-trauma and harm prevention program complements traditional compliance, skills, aversion and cautionary story-telling methods, with a socio-cultural framework that uplifts participants as ‘the solution’ to preventable trauma and harm – change agents within their social and familial groups.

An initial presentation phase is supported by 3 x  in-class teacher delivered modules, including assessment and leadership resources. Content is professionally aligned to the Australian Curriculum, with independent academic evaluation for effectiveness using randomised controlled trials. A highly qualified YOU CHOOSE Teacher Support Manager is available to assist teachers with program facilitation to optimise outcomes.

Youth Advisors – teens who have recently participated in the program – ensure that relatability, authenticity and messaging are accurately calibrated for 15 to 18 year-olds.
